Right To Information - Good or Bad?

Let me give you a slight introduction: According to this right anybody, any citizen has a secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency & accountability in working of every public authority and thats not all, the information is required to reply expeditiously or within thirty days. -Taken from wikipedia I wonder in a democratic country like ours if anybody is misusing this right already? Already the works done by the government delays a lot & after this act they would even more, for sure. As there is no fees to send an application and in the world of internet neither a need to buy a postcard, stamp or envelope. So, its even easier & annoying. Just think if someone would ask you to disclose the procedures of your company or job, or ask for the details on how you accomplished them. Would that be okay? In schools also we see a board just where the classrooms start, which mentions: Parents are requested to not to go beyond this point. That doesn't mean that school people are doing some injustice to our kids. Its just they don't want to be disturbed in their procedures & routine. As parents may cause unnecessary chaos. Rather there should be an act that they should complete their tasks in the given deadline. And after that there should be strict answerability. What say friends? Happy & peaceful sunday!!! Medhavi :-)
