The Food Meditation

It's wonderful, I've never tasted my food like this before. Since past 2-3 days I'm trying to meditate on my food. Before start eating, I'm saying thanks to the universe to provide me with such a blessing. And when I put the first bite in my mouth I just close my eyes & try to feel the exact taste of that bite... Chewing it slowly... Feeling it & then swallow it. Believe me it feels so good. I know it's possible to not to speak while eating or to concentrate completely on food because our minds run here & there and we always some other work to do simultaneously but still I'm trying and I'm really enjoying it. And yes, besides thanking the universe I'm trying to thank all those behind that food; like the farmer who grew those vegetables ( I know I don't know him but still it's possible), the vegetable vendor, the person who got that veggies from the market & the person who cooked it, everybody. This is really beautiful.... It's a bliss indeed. I don't know whether I'll be able to reduce my weight or not. Right now I am just enjoying & thanking and trying to be honest with my stomach.
