We Are The 12th Graders :-)

We are the 12th graders, We are the teenagers. Who are going through a lot of physical changes, mental findings, understanding relationships. But above all these we are the 12th graders. Sometimes when we feel at peace and smile, Just at that moment a teacher or a parent or a relative or an intellectual classmate, look at us, weirdly, Like you are a 12th grader buddy, How can you just smile? And just at that moment our peace goes & our smile vanishes. Because we are the 12th graders. If we have scored good in our previous exams, it's still okay, but if not... then the risk is even higher. Because we are the 12th graders. People talk about not to take stress, stay motivated, do meditation & be positive, But in all our surroundings we don't find a single hand to show us the way. Because we are the 12th graders. They say study, study & study, Who you are, what do you think, what do you want, It doesn't matter buddy. What if you don't find meaning in your books, It's about the result, not about how you took. It's time to forget ourselves, Because we are the 12th graders. They say they are not partial about good or average scoring kids, But through their faces they make us realise why do you exist? As we are the 12th graders. They say it's a democratic & free country, We wonder where is our freedom? Because we are the 12th graders. We know we are not "THAT" capable, But life must be having something in store for us. Sooner or later we will also shine like a star, No matter what we'll come over. We are the 12th graders, We are the 12th graders. Want to dedicate this poem to all the 12th graders including my daughter Divyanshi. Thank you for time pals. Have a smooth day ahead!!! Medhavi :-)
