Standing amidst a temple
Gazing at the idol.
I am not bowing
Because I don’t feel like.
Neither I am afraid
That if I won’t
I would be cursed.
And here I am getting these vibes
That the deity respects my individuality.
She is giving me the space to be me
I guess this is what religion is about.
