A Poem on- “What Do We Philosophers Want?”

What do we philosophers want?
A little appreciation from other philosophers & a little from some other people.
A good, healthy & a positive discussion,
It just keeps us going on our mission.
We don’t want any money,
But may be we can learn something from you & you can learn something from us honey.
A good comment can make our day,
It seems like we got our pay.
Some people call us fools,
But we are the ones who carry, in our mind, a bit of schools.
Because as it’s said the most important is the “bhaav karma”,
& we all are doing it in in our thoughts (bhaav).
If we are able to think good thoughts,
It means we are able to speak them too,
So, that will be our “vachan karma”

(the one we do with our speech)
It means we are able to do them too.
So, that will be our “karma”,

(the one we do with our body)
And in this way we can make a difference,
& make this society a better place to live.
What do we philosophers want?
A little appreciation from other philosophers & a little from some other people.
A good, healthy & a positive discussion,
It just keeps us going on our mission.

After writing 160 poems in hindi, this is my first attempt to write english poetry. I hope it’s okay?

Thanks & have a great day!!!
