The Karate Kid & The Lesson Of The Day

images

Today morning my son was watching the movie,The Karate Kid. I’m not fond of watching TV & always avoid that. But somehow when I entered the room, there was this scene going on which caught my attention & made my day. In that particular scene Jackie Chang, who was playing the role of the karate teacher, tells the 12 year old student, ” kung Fu lives in everything we do, it lives in how we put on a jacket, how we take off the jacket and lives in how we treat people. Everything is Kung Fu.”
I can’t explain how mesmerising was that scene for me. Then I thought this is what our passion should be like. We should live our passion, it should be visible in every action of ours. One should walk, talk, move, sit, stand & do everything through that. One should just wear his passion into the core of his existence.
Of course that doesn’t mean that he should start ignoring the world but a passionate person tries to join, to connect, every incident to his passion only. He lives for his passion.
In fact we can see many personalities like this in our surroundings. For example we all know Sachin Tendulkar. But we know him not as an individual identity but because of his passion, which is cricket.
We know Sania Mirza & Saina Nehwal; not because of their individuality but because of what they exist for. As we all  know they are famous for lawn tennis & badminton respectively.
So, the conclusion is the same again that “Our passion is the reason behind our existence.”
Hope I’ve done justice to whatever I had in my mind.
Thank you for your time buddies.
Have a truly passionate day ahead!!!
Medhavi 🙂
