Yesterday there was a get together at my maasi’s place, where all the maasis, mama, cousins & their families present. The reason was my cousin Anju’s daughter Diya’s birth. Though Diya is almost six months now but we all saw her for the first time as she lives in Bangalore.
I tell you I found that child so calm, so serene, so surrendered that I can’t explain. And obviously those who have these traits are called spiritual beings, isn’t it? We were almost twenty people, who saw her, took her into our arms, awed on her beauty, but she was doing just one thing and that is to look into each one’s eyes & smile. She was not at all bothered by the hullabaloo we all were making. As if she was detached from all that. In those four hours I made her sleep twice on my lap & all I had to do was; to lie her down on her stomach & slightly pat her back & both the times, in a few minutes she was sleeping.
She is not at all like a mamma’s baby or only acquaintance friendly. But I found her a highly spiritual being.
Dear child, dear fairy! I truly pray to the universe to take care of you, to keep blessing you with this calmness & serenity. May you would be one of the brightest star in the future of this world.
