Thinking of possessions
I find that this journey is not about the external ones
But getting rid of the internal possessions.
Who are going to accompany me in my future
Yes, I want to get rid of them.
I possess anger
Which I want to encumber.*
I own pride
I want to be humble and be a glide.
I am deluded
I want to have the right vision
In a higher stream I want to be included.
I own greed
But want to belong to a different creed.
As I am going deeper
I can see there lies many of them
Hatred, lust, cry, laughter
And at even a deeper level, my gender too.
I wonder from where did they stem!
I know I have to leave them
And be a gem.
*Encumber- hold back
